In recent years, the application and promotion of active dust suppression technology at transfer points in coal handling systems of thermal power plants have advanced rapidly. To summarize the experiences, design considerations, and technical performance of this technology, the Mechanical Special Committee of the China Electric Power Planning and Design Association, the Coal Management Standardization Committee of the China Electricity Council's Thermal Power Plant Enterprise, and the Coal Machinery Standardization Committee of the China Electricity Council decided to jointly organize a seminar on active dust suppression technology at coal handling system transfer points in Xiamen.

The seminar took place from December 4 to 6, 2019, at the Xiamen Datang Ginlan Hotel. As a co-organizer, Potent shared insights on the theme "Dust Suppression Design and Engineering Integration in Coal Crusher Rooms," drawing from years of experience in dust suppression technology across various coal-fired power plants in China and Southeast Asia. Over the course of three days, nearly a hundred relevant enterprises from across the country participated in the seminar, eagerly sharing and exchanging their experiences in environmental protection and energy-saving practices in transfer stations and coal crusher rooms. The seminar was a resounding success.
