On
September 11, the hydrostatic test of the supercritical boiler for Unit 4 at
the Masinloc Power Plant, a project undertaken by Potent for San Miguel Global
Power, Philippines, was successfully completed in one attempt. This marks
another major milestone in the smooth progress of Potent's construction on this
project.
During the test, the Potent’s team strictly followed the special construction plan and adhered to relevant regulations for the hydrostatic test. The entire process was closely monitored for water quality, water injection speed, pressure increase and decrease rates, and boiler expansion. After a series of steps, including pressurizing to the maximum pressure, stabilizing, and reducing to working pressure, all system equipment showed no deformation, no abnormal expansion, tight valve closures, no pressure fluctuations, and no deformation or leakage in the metal walls and welds of the pressure-bearing components. The test was a complete success.
